Invites proposals for

Setting up a Capital Market Training Institute and designing course structures
for Capital Market Participants

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka is a body incorporated under Act No. 36 of 1987 as amended. One of the main responsibilities of the Commission is to promote and develop the Securities Market in Sri Lanka.

The SEC is of the view that enhancement of knowledge and skills of the Capital Market participants are both a current and future necessity. In order to facilitate the above, the SEC requires the services of a Consultant to design multi-tiered course structures for capital market participants along with the establishment of a sustainable institutional framework through a self-funding institution. The Consultant/s should possess expertise and wide experience in the financial service sector preferably with knowledge of the Sri Lankan capital market.

Candidates are requested to submit proposals indicating the qualifications, experience, details of previous consultancy work, methodology to be used and the professional charges to reach the Commission on or before 30 April 2004.
